Feedback from student interns who participated in a Lokahi created and managed campus program for Product (RED) during the 08/09 school year:

"This past year working with Brande and (RED) has been amazing for me. I have always felt compelled to reach out and make a difference in the world but I wasn't quite sure what my outlet would be to do this, and I feel so blessed an honored to have found that with (RED). I am eternally grateful to everyone who had a part in my experience, and so thankful that they have given me this incredible opportunity. The skills that I learned from Brande and the entire (RED) team on how to inspire people and create change are truly invaluable to me, and I have since used them in many areas of my life. Working with the amazing people that I have been fortunate enough to meet through this experience has motivated me to persue other humanitarian efforts, and I know without a shadow of a doubt that this work will always be a part of my life."

"I loved working on campus as a representative for (RED). I was able to gain real world experience in a social marketing campaign, as well as work with amazing products and corporations. To top it all off, I was working with issues I care deeply about - so every day spent working was a day full of accomplishment, and a day that got (RED) as a whole towards their goal of helping to eliminate AIDS in Africa. It was a fantastic opportunity, and I would do it again in a heartbeat."
